The world is changing. And yet, we are still called to gather in Jesus' name. What will the future of church be? You and I are privileged to be a part of the generation that decides what gets passed on. We have to build the church fo the future. So we're hosted a fundraiser dinner and conversation with Fred Harrell and others about what's in store for the future of church on Saturday, September 28th.
Together we raised $14,047.81 for our Dwell Kids ministry to shape the future of the next generation! Thanks to all who partnered with us, including our incredible speakers featured below.
These funds will help in the following ways:

We've settled on the image of 'building' for the mode in which we are dreaming. There have been times and locations in human history where the community worked together for the future of the world. Let's dream together about a time when people are drawn again into the power of Jesus' presence through vibrant, healthy churches. What might the future church look like? What if churches had values like:
Fred is the founding pastor of City Church, with over 30 years experience in ministry. He serves as the Executive Director of Cultivate, a coaching and consulting practice to pastors and churches; and as Director of New Church Cultivation for the Post-Evangelical Collective, and as Transitional Pastor for Stone Church in Willow Glen. You can hear more of Fred's story here.
Trey is a blogger, podcaster, speaker, pastor, and public theologian. As the author of Theologizin' Bigger, he is on a mission to help the church re-engage its imagination. He also serves as the pastor of The Intention Church, an intentionally online church community (scheduled to begin meeting in September 2024) built on the historic Black Church and the Anabaptist, Mennonite traditions. You hear more of Trey's story here.
Matt is a pastor, speaker, spiritual director, group facilitator, writer, activist, and musician. As a gay Christian, he works at the intersection of sexuality and spirituality to create safe, sacred spaces for people exploring these identities.
